Our Team

Hannah is our multi-talented practice manager. She has grown up working in the dental field and follows in the footsteps of multiple generations of women in her family who have worked in dentistry. She truly finds joy in helping children achieve their healthiest smiles while providing excellent patient experience with a compassionate approach. Hannah has years of experience with dental insurance and billing and helps educate families in their individual policies, finding creative ways to provide affordable treatment while ensuring individualized high-quality care.

Hannah is a Santa Barbara native and resides in Carpinteria with her husband and two children whom she adores and spends as much time with as possible. She is very proud of her skills as a homegrown chef and nurtures her creative side with dancing, painting, crafts and reading. Hannah enjoys staying busy and you’ll often find her running around from sports practices, dance rehearsals and local events with her family. She loves that Santa Barbara’s relatively small community gives her the opportunity to get to know our practice’s families outside of the office and enjoys running into our patients at local school events and community gatherings. Hannah has a true passion for pediatric dentistry and finds the field to be the most rewarding and enjoyable “job” she could ever have!

Letty is our wonderful patient coordinator here at Santa Barbara Children’s Dentistry. She began her journey in dentistry many years ago, working both the back and front office, and has been an RDA since 1997. Letty works with great attention to detail and organization, and her ability to multi-task while still providing exceptional patient care is unmatched. You’ll often find her sweet, smiling face at the front desk, graciously welcoming our patients and making them feel right at home. She thoroughly enjoys tending to the needs of our families and helping ensure they receive the high-quality care and service we are known for. Letty’s personable and empathetic demeanor makes her the perfect fit for our team.

In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She also loves to travel, cook, and bake delicious treats that she often shares with the team. We are so lucky to have her!

Karen is our lead RDA’s. Born in Mexico and raised in Santa Barbara, she is fluent in both Spanish & English. With over 6 years of experience in the dental field, she has excelled and found her true passion in pediatric dentistry. Karen’s kindhearted personality and empathy for children lend well when working with children with anxiety, fears, or special needs. She finds creative ways to help our patients work through personal challenges and offers compassion when patients are feeling overwhelmed or nervous. Her energy is contagious, and she loves providing a unique and individual experience for each patient that will leave them smiling. Outside of the office, Karen enjoys spending time with her 4-year-old son who keeps life fun and chaotic! She enjoys hikes, fitness, and spending quality time with her little family. Karen is a true “gem” in our practice and we feel so fortunate to have her as part of our team.

Damaris is one of our very talented pediatric dental assistants. Born and raised here in Santa Barbara, she started in general dentistry several years ago but soon came to realize that working with children is something she always had a passion for.  She finds unique ways to cater each visit to the individual child and is always encouraging her patients. She also enjoys educating our families by helping improve their daily hygiene routines so they can leave feeling confident and informed. When she isn’t in the office, Damaris enjoys exercising, hiking with friends, and trying new local restaurants with her boyfriend. Damaris’ passion for working with children and educating our families is shown through her daily interactions and we are more than grateful to have her as a part of our team.

Jennifer is one of our wonderful RDAs and was born and raised here in Santa Barbara! She has been in the dental field for over 18 years and is highly skilled in all areas of dental assisting with children and adults. Her gentle voice and patient approach leave each child walking away with big smiles on their faces and confidence to return! She has a wealth of knowledge in pediatric dentistry and shares this with our patients and families by answering all their questions and explaining each process of the appointment step by step. In her spare time, she spends most of her time outdoors with her son enjoying nature and the beautiful Santa Barbara weather. Jennifer truly loves her job and enjoys going above and beyond for our families.
